Community Service Center
Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, Youth Volunteer Corps, health screening education and assistance, inner city missions, and disaster response.
The Burlington Seventh-day Adventist church hosts an active Adventist Community Services center that helps to meet the needs of many people in the community as well as around the world. Located next to the church, the Service Center is open from 1-3 on Tuesday afternoons to provide clothing, food vouchers, and other services. Donations of clothing are also accepted from 9-3 on Tuesdays. Two times a year, shipments of extra clothing are sent to ADRA, where they are then distributed around the world to aid those suffering from disasters and financial hardship.
